For a west coast chef’s debut in Baltimore, SM+P was hired to design the flagship location for a new vegan restaurant concept- Liora. Located at the base of a new waterfront apartment tower, the task was to create a bright and airy environment evocative of what one might find dining in coastal California. The 2,700sf space is defined by dining and bar areas that surround an open kitchen which allows the cooking be put fully on display. Accents of natural woods are combined with warm plaster and tile materials, and custom millwork elements incorporate the use of plantings throughout.
