The original bathroom was undersized; SM+P extended it three feet into the bedroom to create much-needed storage. Though still compact, the material palette makes the room unique and memorable. The owners’ choice of Rosa Aurora marble as a focal point guided all remaining finish decisions. An unplanned but delightful discovery: the blush plaster walls change hue throughout the day thanks to the South-facing exposure — a living quality that no specification could have planned for.
