SM+P Architects was commissioned to develop the concept design for the future headquarters of a Baltimore-based banking institution — a project requiring the imagination to envision a building that would represent an organisation’s identity and ambitions for decades to come. Headquarters buildings carry a weight of meaning beyond their practical function: they are statements of institutional confidence, made visible in architecture.
