SM+P was hired to create a new location for a vegan pizza & wine bar concept- Double Zero. The 1,400sf space sits adjacent to, and shares a back-of-house and bar with another concept by the same chef- Liora. Double Zero was envisioned as a more “moody” counterpoint to Liora, with a dark color palette and a more casual dining environment. A dramatic wood-clad overhead volume creates a focal point and helps to organize the seating and cooking areas. A low dining area is accented by a custom millwork screen and illuminated wine display, while counter seating facing the pizza oven offers a more interactive experience with the food preparation process. A pass-through to the bar at Liora simultaneously allows for convenience as well as a shared view of both spaces.
