SM+P Architects restored the rear porches and garden of this historic Bolton Hill home — a space in disrepair that needed both structural attention and a new vision. The client’s brief included a screened-in porch, outdoor kitchen, dining area, and firepit, all integrated into the design while many mature plantings were carefully transplanted from the previous garden. The project won two 2024 Baltimore Magazine Home & Design Awards — for ‘Deck, Roof Deck, Patio, Porch’ and ‘Landscape Design – Small Space’ — recognition of the quality of outdoor design SM+P delivers alongside their interior and architectural work.
