Canton Car Wash- Nottingham is an approximately 11,000sf car wash facility with full detail bay located in the Nottingham area of White Marsh, MD.  DJ Architecture of Vorhees, NJ served as the architect of record for the shell building, and SM+P served as the design architect for all exterior finishes and full interior build-out of this 5.0m project.  As their second location and first ground-up build, the owners were adamant that the design of the facility offer their customers a full experience reflective of the level of service they had come to expect from their original location in Canton. They requested a design that maximizes the customer experience during the 10 minutes they wait for their vehicle to be ready.  They also asked that the design and materials be referential to the industrial history of Canton. These were achieved through an assemblage of raw materials, lighting, furnishings (including custom), technology, and visual connection between the Lobby and the theatre of the Detail Bay.
