SM+P took a conceptual design from the Orioles’ architect DAIQ and created all construction documents and provided construction administration for the Center Field Picnic Area renovation at Camden Yards — making it ADA accessible with room for six sculptures. SM+P also renovated the existing concession building: enlarging the concession stand and installing a two-level roof deck with covered bar overlooking centre field. Two staircases and an elevator meet all code and ADA requirements. SM+P took the project from Schematic Design to Construction Documents in approximately three months — working closely with both the Maryland Stadium Authority and the Orioles throughout.
